The park features one large picnic shelter that's ideal for family gatherings or celebrations. You should note that restrooms, while available, close seasonally from October 15 to April 15, and might require a bit of a walk from the playground area. A small inconvenience in an otherwise pleasant park that offers a nice blend of learning, leisure, and local history.
