First Street Park

History and Development

First Street Park is a small urban park located in Rochester, New York. The park sits on the corner of First Street and Second Avenue in the East Village neighborhood. Originally developed in 1935 as part of the Works Progress Administration initiative, First Street Park has undergone several renovations over the years to serve the changing needs of the community.
