Greenway Access
Annie L. Jones Park serves as the trailhead for the Annie Jones Greenway, which provides opportunities for walking, biking, jogging, and strolling. The west branch of the greenway runs from McCloud Court through Annie L. Jones Park and across Tarbert Drive, ending at the east branch a few hundred feet from SW Cary Parkway.
Trailhead parking is available for those accessing the greenway.
Sports Facilities
The park offers a variety of sports facilities for visitors to enjoy. These include six lighted tennis courts, one lighted baseball/softball field, and two basketball slabs.
These facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless reserved. For tennis court inquiries, visitors can contact the Cary Tennis Park.
Amenities
Families will appreciate the playground for children and picnic tables for outdoor meals.
Restroom facilities are available on-site for visitors' convenience.
Park History
Annie L. Jones Park is named after Annie Lee Jones (1922-1989), who served as town clerk, finance director, treasurer, and tax collector for the Town of Cary from 1954 to 1981.
The park was officially named in her honor in 1979, recognizing her significant contributions to the community.
