DeWeese Park is situated along the Stillwater River, offering visitors scenic views and access to natural areas. The park's location within the DeWeese-Ridgecrest neighborhood adds to the area's appeal as a place filled with green spaces and recreational facilities.
Established in 1929 when Evelyn DeWeese deeded two parcels of land to the City of Dayton with the stipulation that it always be held for park purposes.
