Winding through the greenery, Turner Park's concrete walking trail is excellent for your morning jog or an evening stroll with your four-legged friend. The path is well-kept and smooth - no surprise it's a hit with joggers and dog walkers from around the neighborhood.

Got kids? They'll love the modern playground equipment that's ready for climbing, sliding, and all sorts of imaginative play. Safety first - the playground sits on a soft padding surface to cushion any tumbles, and there's a separate swing set with four swings where little ones can soar through the air.

When hunger strikes, head to one of the picnic areas dotted throughout the park. You'll find several picnic tables with charcoal grills - ideal for impromptu cookouts or planned family gatherings when the weather's nice.

Park Facilities

Need some shade? Take your pick between two gazebos, each offering a different vibe. One has a more contemporary feel than the other, but both provide cool shelter and additional picnic tables for your outdoor meals.

Even as evening falls, the park remains welcoming with good lighting throughout. There are plenty of trash cans around - making it easy to keep the space clean for everyone. Note that you won't find public restrooms or working water fountains here, so plan accordingly.

Community Features

Book lovers will appreciate the Little Free Library - a charming touch that brings neighbors together. Feel free to take a book that catches your eye or leave one you've enjoyed for someone else to discover.

The south end of the park is home to some interesting public art installations that add character and conversation starters to your walk. They're a subtle reminder of Tulsa's support for the arts, even in neighborhood spaces.

Pet-Friendly Environment

Four-legged friends are welcome here! You'll find stations with bags for cleaning up after your pet across the park. Remember to keep your dog leashed while enjoying the walking paths together - they're just the right length for a satisfying pet exercise session.

Location

Tucked just west of Will Rogers College Middle and High School in Midtown Tulsa, Turner Park is a green retreat for locals. While not massive in size, it makes good use of its space with a mix of open grassy areas and shady trees.

Though not large, the park is well-maintained with plenty of character. It's clean, peaceful, and offers enough space for recreation, quiet contemplation, or simply connecting with neighbors in the heart of urban Tulsa.
