Pathways and Trails

Fancy a stroll? The park features a paved loop path that curves gently through the property - fantastic for your morning jog, afternoon walk, or a leisurely bike ride. If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, natural soft surface trails weave through more rugged terrain, letting you get up close with central Oregon's distinctive high desert vegetation and rock formations.

Open Spaces

The large open lawn area is essentially a blank canvas for whatever outdoor activity you're in the mood for - tossing a frisbee, spreading out a picnic blanket, or simply lounging with a good book. This grassy expanse sits just below an overlook area that offers some nice views of the surrounding neighborhood.

With all this space, kids have plenty of room to run around safely, making it a great spot for family outings or just burning off some energy.

The park showcases contemporary playground design with equipment from Landscape Structures, including an impressive Venti structure. What's particularly thoughtful is that the playground area is shaded, so no more scorching hot slides or monkey bars on sunny days!

One of the coolest features has to be the outdoor musical instruments scattered throughout the play area. These are always a hit with kids who can create their own outdoor symphony while developing coordination skills.

Sports and Recreation

Basketball enthusiasts can shoot some hoops on the park's court, while skaters can practice their tricks at the small skate area with its ledges and ramps. It's worth noting that there aren't any bowls for more advanced skateboarding, but it's meant for casual riders and beginners.

You'll come across seating options within the park, especially near the playground where parents can keep an eye on the action. There's one picnic table near the play structure - though if you're planning a larger gathering, you might want to bring some blankets or portable tables.

Need a restroom? The park maintains a clean porta-potty that's serviced weekly, complete with the essentials (toilet paper and hand sanitizer). As you wander the paths, you'll notice beautiful flowers lining the sidewalks and walking areas, adding splashes of color throughout the seasons.
