About the Location

History and Development

Stover Park is a small neighborhood park spanning 2.2 acres. It was developed in partnership with the City of Bend and Kiwanis Club in 1972.

The park is named after Byron "Dutch" Stover, a lifelong champion of children and local athletes in the Bend community.

Recreation Facilities

The park features a youth baseball field that hosts high school fast pitch softball and little league baseball games. The outfield is separated from the playground area by a tall arborvitae hedge border, providing a clear distinction between play spaces.
