The playground thoughtfully accommodates children of all ages, with a separate toddler play section for the smallest adventurers and more challenging equipment where older kids can test their limits. The park makes the most of its riverside location with a 4-lane boat ramp and marina, giving boating enthusiasts easy access to the Cumberland River. The river views offer a peaceful atmosphere for visitors.

Amenities and Facilities

The park caters to diverse interests with its multi-purpose sports fields and four pavilions open for public use. These pavilions come equipped with picnic tables, and some include barbecue facilities - fantastic for family gatherings or casual get-togethers with friends.

You'll discover clean restroom facilities throughout the park, although keep in mind some may close during the colder months. For those focused on fitness, dedicated workout areas let you combine your love of nature with your exercise routine.

Dog-Friendly Areas

Four-legged family members aren't forgotten at Liberty Park. The King's Run Bark Park provides a fenced area where dogs can run free without a leash (though you'll need a code to access this section).

Throughout the rest of the park, dogs on leashes are welcome companions - just remember to clean up after your furry friends.

Near the entrance stands the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, named in honor of the Olympic gold medalist who called Clarksville home. This versatile venue hosts community events and is available for private rentals as well.
