For those seeking exercise or leisurely strolls, Liberty Park offers 1.8 miles of walking trails winding through the grounds. The park's location along the Cumberland River is utilized with a 4-lane boat ramp, allowing easy access for boating enthusiasts.
Liberty Park caters to various interests with its multi-purpose sports fields and four pavilions available for public use. The park is also home to the King's Run Bark Park, a dedicated area for dog owners to let their pets play off-leash.
Near the park's entrance stands the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, named after the Olympic gold medalist and Clarksville native. At the north end of the park, visitors can find the Pat Head Summitt Legacy Park, which features a bronze statue of the legendary basketball coach overlooking the river.
The park is open daily from dawn to dusk, with the marina and boat ramps accessible 24 hours a day. While the pavilions are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis, they can also be reserved for special events.
