About Arrow S. Park in Fort Worth
Arrow S Park is a public recreational area in Fort Worth, Texas, situated on the shores of Lake Worth. Established in 1918, this park serves as one of the primary access points to the lake, offering visitors opportunities for various water-based activities.
The park is particularly popular among boating enthusiasts, featuring a boat ramp that allows easy access to Lake Worth. This two-lane concrete ramp can accommodate up to 50 vehicles with trailers, making it a convenient launching point for boats, kayaks, and canoes.
Arrow S Park is one of four parks with boat ramps providing lake access in the area. While camping is not allowed, the park offers day-use facilities for visitors. The City of Fort Worth operates and maintains the park, ensuring its facilities are available year-round.
To use the boat ramp, visitors are required to display a valid boat ramp use sticker on their boat trailer. The city offers different fee options for residents, non-residents, and even a weekly pass for short-term visitors.
As part of the larger Lake Worth recreation area, Arrow S Park is connected to a network of trails. The Lake Worth Trails project, which is being constructed in phases, will eventually link this park to other recreational areas along the lake, including the Trinity Trails network.
