On clear days, you can catch glimpses of downtown Fort Worth from certain vantage points - a nice reminder that you're never too far from civilization, even when it feels like you are.

Beyond its natural beauty, Rockwood hosts concerts, charity walks, and veterans' events year-round. It's the kind of place where you might arrive alone but end up chatting with a neighbor or making a new friend.

Right next door is the Rockwood Golf Course - technically separate, but complementing the park perfectly. The course got a complete makeover a few years back and now features both a main course and a 6-hole par-3 section that's meant for working on your short game.
