For those looking to share a meal outdoors, the park's picnic tables are perfectly positioned around the grounds - grab some sandwiches, round up the family, and make an afternoon of it.

Need to get your steps in? A concrete walking path winds through the park for about a quarter mile. It's smooth, well-maintained, and excellent for a quick morning jog or an evening stroll after dinner. Nothing too demanding - just a nice way to move your body in the fresh air.

Midland summers can be intense, which is why Hill Park's abundant shade trees are such a blessing. These leafy trees provide cool spots to relax and offer relief during the hot summer days.

The park got even greener in November 2023 when Keep Midland Beautiful added 20 new trees to the landscape. This thoughtful addition not only enhances the beauty of the park but will provide welcome shade for future generations of park-goers.
