Hill Park

Play & Unwind

At 5.5 acres in the heart of Midland, Texas, Hill Park offers a solid little green escape from the urban hustle. Kids will love the expansive playground area, and the park's picnic tables are well positioned for an easy outdoor meal with the family.

Need to get your steps in? A concrete walking path winds through the park for about a quarter mile. It's smooth, well-maintained, and works equally well for a quick morning jog or an evening stroll after dinner.

Natural Charm

Midland summers can be intense, which is why Hill Park's abundant shade trees are such a blessing. These leafy trees provide cool spots to relax and offer relief during the hot summer days.

The park got even greener in November 2023 when Keep Midland Beautiful added 20 new trees to the landscape. This thoughtful addition not only enhances the beauty of the park but will provide welcome shade for future generations of park-goers.

If you're into bird watching, bring your binoculars. The diverse trees attract various feathered friends, creating a subtle soundtrack of chirps and calls as you relax on the grass or walk the path.

Neighborhood Haven

What makes Hill Park special isn't flashy amenities - it's the simple pleasure of having a clean, well-maintained outdoor space within reach. It's a place where you can disconnect for a bit and enjoy some greenery.

Your four-legged friends are welcome here too, however you'll need to keep them leashed. Note that there aren't any public restrooms available, so plan accordingly. Despite this minor limitation, the park provides an excellent backdrop for casual birthday celebrations, small gatherings, or just a quiet afternoon with a good book.

Hill Park is a straightforward, pleasant green space - a nice spot to play, relax, and enjoy a bit of nature in Midland.
