Park Features

Don't expect elaborate facilities here - this viewpoint embraces simplicity at its finest. You'll come across a stretch of grass running alongside a peaceful neighborhood street, reminiscent of Sunset Hill park in design but with its own unique charm.

A few benches provide comfortable seating for view-gazing, or you can bring a blanket and claim a spot on the grass for an impromptu picnic. Sometimes the simplest settings offer the most memorable experiences.

From this vantage point, you'll catch glimpses of Seattle's iconic landmarks including the West Seattle Bridge, Port of Seattle, the city's stadiums, the industrial SoDo district, and if you squint just right, even the Space Needle in the distance.

Keep in mind that your view might change with the seasons. Fall and winter often provide clearer sightlines when trees shed their leaves. During lush summer months, trees and brush below the fence might partially block certain views - but that's just nature doing its thing.
