Junction Plaza

Junction Plaza Park is a small urban park located in the heart of the West Seattle Junction neighborhood. Situated at the corner of 42nd Avenue SW and SW Alaska Street, this 0.15-acre park serves as both a destination and a pass-through space for local residents and visitors.

The park was dedicated in 2010 after years of community planning and fundraising efforts. It was designed to provide an open green space within the dense urban environment of the Junction business district. The design, created by landscape architect Karen Kiest, incorporates elements that encourage casual daily use while also accommodating community events and festivals.

The park features a plaza area with brick and concrete seating, offering a place for people to relax, eat, or simply watch the bustling neighborhood activity.
