Hit the Trails

Sullivan Park connects to the Centennial Trail with a trailhead just across the river. This makes it an ideal jumping-off point for your walking, running, or cycling adventures along this popular multi-use path.

Within the park itself, there's a woodsy trail that winds through the trees, creating a forest-like setting in the middle of the city. These level, shaded paths provide a peaceful nature walk where you might spot various bird species. The trails offer a natural experience while still being close to urban amenities.

For those with unique hobbies, Sullivan Park houses the Hank Perry Raceway, a track where remote control car enthusiasts can practice their skills. Complete with jumps and curves, this well-maintained RC car track sees the most action from May through September.

You'll find benches strategically placed along the riverside, offering peaceful spots to sit and take in the surroundings. The park's well-kept wooden fences add a touch of rustic charm while defining different areas.

Good to Know

You'll find plenty of parking with 151 spaces available, which comes in handy during busy weekends or events. The Western Dance Center located within the park hosts various activities including square dancing - a unique feature you might not expect to find.

Restroom facilities are available on-site, however note they're located a bit far from some areas like the RC track, so plan accordingly.

The park opens daily from 6AM to 9PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy all it has to offer, whether you're catching a sunrise by the river or taking an evening stroll along the wooded paths.
