About Little Prairie Park
A Neighborhood Gem
Positioned on NE 142nd Avenue just north of NE 76th Street in Vancouver, Washington, Little Prairie Park is a neighborhood green space that opened in July 2007. Though modest in size, the park has a certain tranquility about it - especially when the trees are in bloom.
Skate & Play
Got a skateboarder in the family? The park features a small skate spot where local riders can practice their moves. It's nothing enormous, but the hubbas with kickers provide just enough features for beginners and casual skaters to have some fun.
Kids will gravitate toward the play structure complete with a climbing wall and a pretty steep slide that never fails to elicit excited squeals. There are also some spinning play elements, but they could use a little TLC. One thing to note - the playground doesn't currently have swings, which would definitely make a nice addition to the space.

Simple Pleasures
Little Prairie keeps things simple when it comes to amenities. You'll discover a handful of benches scattered throughout where you can sit and watch the kids play or simply enjoy some fresh air. There's a single picnic table if you're in the mood for an outdoor lunch, and a lovely open grassy area well-suited for tossing a frisbee or just sprawling out with a good book.
Keep in mind that there are no public restrooms here, and parking is somewhat limited - typical of a small neighborhood park designed primarily for locals who can walk over.
Community Hub
Little Prairie is a simple neighborhood park where local families often spend time. It's neither flashy nor overwhelming - just a pleasant green space where residents can enjoy some outdoor time.

ADCannon Beach Hiking Tour on the Oregon Coast
The Oregon Coast is an experience like no other and our guides have selected a quieter, slower approach to the day: a visit to Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach; hikes through old-growth forests to views beyond what the common tourist sees; up-close encounters with the iconic monoliths that make the Oregon Coast so unusual; a lunch stop in a sweet beach town; recommendations for our favorite cinnamon rolls, pie or ice cream; sand (if you want it) between your toes. Day tours can feel long but ours feels more like a just-right exploration with plenty of time to sit however you like with the majesty of the ocean -- or spend most of your time wandering in the forest as you listen to waves crash beneath you.
