Heritage Heights Park

Recreational Facilities

Spanning 8.11 acres on Madison's east side, Heritage Heights Park offers a variety of recreational facilities for residents and visitors. The park is conveniently located near Kennedy Elementary School and adjacent to Heritage Sanctuary.

The park includes a playground with equipment for children to enjoy, as well as sports facilities such as basketball and tennis courts. For those looking to engage in field sports, the park offers open multipurpose fields suitable for various activities.

Winter Activities

The park features a seasonal ice rink, which is maintained through the Adopt Ice Partnership Program. During winter months, volunteers assist in maintaining the ice, typically in the evening hours.

The ice rink is a NiceRink®, an above-ground, framed liner that allows water to freeze quicker and stay frozen longer, extending the skating season.

Amenities and Gatherings

A picnic shelter is available for gatherings and can be reserved for events. The shelter provides a convenient space for community members to come together and enjoy outdoor meals or celebrations.

Throughout the park, visitors can find picnic tables for casual use.

Heritage Heights Park is part of a larger network of green spaces in the area. It is located near the Heritage Sanctuary, a pristine native woods known for its beautiful trillium blooms in the spring.
