History and Location

De Anza Park spans 20.7 acres of lush greenery and scenic trails at the corner of Phillips Street and South Euclid Avenue in Ontario, California. It provides a serene environment for visitors to enjoy nature and outdoor activities.

Originally purchased in February 1926 for water purposes, the park was named after Juan Bautista De Anza, who was the first to open a route across the mountains and desert from Sonora, Mexico to the San Gabriel Mission, the nucleus of the city of Los Angeles.
