Park Overview

The park's two lakes are the main attraction for fishing enthusiasts. From November to April, you'll come across the waters stocked with trout, while catfish take over from May through September.

Just remember to bring your California state fishing license if you're planning to cast a line. Forgot yours? No worries - day licenses are available at the gate for $12.

The lakes offer a surprisingly peaceful setting for fishing, however your luck might vary depending on when you visit. For the best chances, try coming shortly after the weekly stocking days, typically Wednesdays or Thursdays.

Water Recreation

When temperatures climb, the park's splash pad becomes the place to be. It's a hit with kids of all ages during the warmer months - nothing beats running through cool water on a hot California day.

Worth noting: the main pool and water slides are currently closed indefinitely, but the splash pad remains open and ready for splashing around.
