A Bit of History
Right next to East D Street in Ontario, California, James Galanis Park has been serving the community since January 1955. The park was established when the city obtained an easement from the San Bernardino County Flood Control District to create a public space for locals.
The park bears the name of James Galanis, a dedicated community member whose civic contributions were significant enough to be commemorated in this peaceful corner of Ontario.
