Kroeger Park

A Glimpse of Boise History

Back in 1913, Theodore and Pauline Kroeger donated this land to the city - a generous gift that continues to bring joy to locals more than a century later. Kroeger Park might be small in size, but it's big on charm. This half-acre mini park sits quietly off Broadway in a residential pocket of Southeast Boise, a little green haven amidst the neighborhood homes.

What You'll Find

Don't let the modest footprint fool you! This park packs in plenty of appeal with its mature shade trees creating a natural canopy that's especially welcome during Idaho's sunny days.

Kids will make a beeline for the playground equipment that accommodates different ages, from toddlers taking their first wobbly steps to more adventurous elementary schoolers. It's a fantastic spot to burn off some energy without having to venture far from home.

Neighborhood Living Room

Kroeger Park beautifully balances natural elements with play spaces - neither overwhelming the other. You can find just enough greenery to feel refreshed, alongside practical recreational areas.

What makes this place special isn't fancy amenities or sprawling grounds, but its role as a community gathering place. For the surrounding homes, it's essentially an outdoor living room where neighbors connect, children play, and the simple pleasure of being outside can be enjoyed just steps from your front door.
