Head downstream to reach Wingfield Park via a pedestrian bridge, or walk upstream to discover Lunsford Park. You can even slip under Arlington Avenue along the riverside walkway to find Wingfield Park's amphitheater.

Just across the river sits Barbara Bennett Park, offering additional amenities like a playground, basketball court, and those picnic tables you might be looking for if you're planning a longer outing.

You'll find street parking nearby, but be aware most spots are metered except on Sundays, holidays, and during off-hours (after 6 PM and before 8 AM). The park doesn't have its own restrooms, but you can find facilities at Barbara Bennett Park across the way.

Daylight hours are prime time for a visit, when the park fills with joggers, musicians, and folks simply soaking in the riverside ambiance. There's a certain magic to watching the sunlight dance on the Truckee while being right in the heart of Reno.
