Orchard Park

Playground & Recreation Area

Orchard Park features a small playground area with equipment suitable for children ages 2-12, including a slide and swings. There is a large open grassy field that provides space for recreational activities and games.

Unique Features

One of the park's unique features is the remains of an old greenhouse foundation, which creates a maze-like structure that children enjoy exploring. The park also contains a community garden and a paved walking path.

Amenities

Orchard Park has a covered picnic shelter with tables that can be used for gatherings or to provide shade. Grills are available for cookouts. The park provides a peaceful green space within an urban neighborhood setting.

History & Overview

While the playground equipment is minimal compared to larger parks, Orchard Park offers a mix of natural and built amenities that make it a pleasant spot for families and residents to enjoy outdoor recreation and relaxation. The park was renovated in 2002, which added new play equipment and opened up the southern portion of the grounds.
