A Community Hub for Everyone

Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, Millbrook Exchange Park spans 69.5 acres of recreational space. Since opening its gates in 1971, this park has become a popular gathering spot for locals of all ages. Located next to Millbrook High School and Fire Station 15, it's integrated into the neighborhood.

Community Center

The heart of the park is the Millbrook Exchange Community Center, complete with a gymnasium and classrooms for various activities. You can enroll your child in preschool sports, participate in dog obedience training, join group fitness classes, take Spanish lessons, or find weekday activities for homeschooled children.

Aquatic Facilities

The park offers several water facilities. The park features an indoor 25-yard lap pool that stays open year-round thanks to its fabric tension covering. With depths ranging from 3'6" to 5'6", clear water, and comfortable temperatures, it's suitable for swimming year-round.

During summer months, the outdoor wading pool (10-18 inches deep) is meant for the little ones to splash around. You can easily move between the main pool and splash area, and don't worry - attentive lifeguards keep watch throughout the facility.

Tennis Center

The tennis center features 21 well-maintained courts. The best part? They're free to use until 10:30 PM, with lights illuminating your evening volleys. If you want to secure a specific court, reservations are available for just $5. The center offers affordable tennis lessons and hosts various programs and tournaments during the year for players of all skill levels.

Dog Park

Dogs have their own space at the dog park, which is divided into areas for large and small dogs. Your furry companion will appreciate the shaded spots, convenient water stations, and waste disposal facilities scattered throughout. There's even a bonus fenced section in the back for a more peaceful experience. And yes, it's lit for those evening romps!

Playground Areas

Kids have plenty of room to burn energy with multiple age-appropriate playgrounds. The toddler playground keeps the littlest ones entertained, while older children (ages 5-12) can tackle the larger structure featuring multiple slides, three different monkey bar setups, and a challenging rock climbing wall. Just note that while some sections offer shade, the playgrounds can get pretty sunny during the day.

Sports and Recreation

Beyond tennis, athletic options abound with well-maintained basketball courts, volleyball courts, and softball fields lit for evening games. Regardless of whether you're shooting hoops with friends or joining an organized league, the facilities won't disappoint.

Walking Trails

When you need a peaceful escape, the woodland trails weaving through the property offer a wonderful setting for a contemplative stroll or light exercise. These natural pathways provide a refreshing contrast to the more developed areas of the park.
