Florence Park is a neighborhood park located in midtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. The park spans approximately 5 acres and functions as a central gathering place for the surrounding Florence Park neighborhood.

Originally established in the 1920s along with the development of the Florence Park residential area, the park provides green space and recreational amenities for local residents. It features mature trees that offer shade throughout the grounds.

Recreational Amenities

The park contains a playground area with separate sections for smaller children (ages 0-4) and older children (ages 5-12). The playground features unique large metal insect sculptures that children can climb on, though it lacks traditional swing sets.

The park offers two tennis courts and four pickleball courts for visitors to use. Open grassy spaces are suitable for picnics or casual sports activities.

A splash pad water feature operates during warmer months to help people cool off from the Oklahoma heat.

Community Hub

Florence Park hosts community events throughout the year, including an annual Fall Festival organized by the neighborhood association.

The park's central location makes it easily accessible to residents of the charming 1920s-era bungalows and revival-style homes that characterize the Florence Park neighborhood.

Visitor Information

The park has limited seating with one picnic table and several benches scattered throughout the grounds. Street parking is the only option for visitors arriving by car.

During summer months, bug spray is recommended as gnats can be prevalent in the area.
