As its name suggests, Cottonwood Grove Park features a stand of cottonwood trees, providing natural shade and habitat for local wildlife. The park's location along the Green River makes it a suitable spot for activities such as bird watching or enjoying the scenery of the flowing water.
History
In March 1986, the park gained historical significance when remains from a victim of serial killer Gary Ridgway, known as the Green River Killer, were discovered in the area. This event brought attention to the park and its surroundings, though it remains a quiet, neighborhood green space today.
