Historical Significance
Dewey Park contains one of two obelisk monuments in Boise that mark the route of Goodale's Cutoff on the Oregon Trail. This monument provides a tangible connection to the area's pioneer history.

This small urban park is located at the intersection of 15th Street and Hill Road. The park serves as a mini recreation area for the local community.
Community Development
The park was developed with support from a Neighborhood Reinvestment Grant and financial contributions from the North End Neighborhood Association (NENA). This community involvement helped create a functional green space in the neighborhood.
