Sports Facilities

This park offers a variety of athletic facilities with soccer fields, softball fields, tennis courts, and even a cricket field. It regularly hosts city and regional tournaments.

The softball/baseball fields got a serious upgrade recently, with two new fields sporting modern lighting. They're kept in great shape, making them popular spots for both casual pickup games and organized leagues.

When winter rolls around, the park transforms with an ice rink where broomball leagues battle it out. For the more adventurous, there's a newly built bike skills park with a natural surface trail loop and various obstacles that cater to cyclists whether you're just starting out or already a pro.

Recent eco-friendly improvements include four infiltration ponds for better water management, a sprawling 9.5-acre native meadow, and a 6.5-acre pollinator-friendly lawn. These upgrades not only help with sustainability and stormwater management but also create beautiful natural spaces to enjoy.

You might spot some wildlife here too - Canadian geese are frequent visitors, especially around the playground area.

This 56-acre community park has seen significant changes over the years as it balances active recreation with ecological preservation. A major redesign wrapped up between 2021 and 2023, completely refreshing the facilities.
